I liked the name FRESH TIDINGS because it has the same meaning like fresh news. I initially wanted to name my blog “tidings”, but the domain name was taken. I settled on Fresh Tidings, which I didn’t like as much, but now I love it and wouldn’t change a thing.
I was inspired by a work colleague who runs a blog website known as celebritylifestyle.com. My passion for writing started way back in secondary school as a member of a Writer’s Club.
I have had a chequered career throughout my working life. My background includes many changes, especially of employment. I have hoped from one city to another and one job to another, right from my native homeland Africa to England, United Kingdom where I live now.
Professionally I am a chef with loads of experience in Continental food preparation and cooking. I have worked as a pastry chef, sous chef and head chef. I have also worked as a food production instructor, health and social care worker, tenancy support officer, just to mention but a few.
Part of my hobbies is sharing News, videos and writing articles on Facebook. I have now launched my own blog platform and still learning, while sharing news, reports and information as I stumble on them.
